Irene Infantes (Seville) completed a BA in Textile Design at Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design. During her studies Infantes was afforded the opportunity to design a special collection of prints for Anthropologie or the ceramics company Legle France. She was also bestowed a ‘Textprint’ award which led her to exhibit her work in different galeries in London and at the textile fair Premiere Vision in Paris, where she was shortlisted for the Clothworkers Interior Award and the Woolmark prize.

Her work has been exhibited across the UK and throughout Europe, including the London Design Festival, Lethaby Gallery, MoOD Brussels, Museum of Arts in Hamburg, Il Salone del Mobile in Milan, Madrid Design festival, Ox poblenou Barcelona or Ruthin Craft Centre.

'Infantes defines herself as someone curious who is inspired by anything that is intriguing; ancestry, the meaning of colours and symbolism in all their obscure and apparent nature'
